Obstacles ( dos and don'ts ) in the English-speaking world
Clueless?
Would you like to improve your usage of the English language and exchange more than just plain small talk with foreign visitors, colleagues and partners?
Advance your knowledge on commonly occurring obstacles in the English-speaking world and how to safely navigate around them.
Create your own portfolio of idioms and phrases to build on and to refer to; the motto could be politeness is key.
We will be looking at various language subtleties, the perks of cultural diversity and also talk about dos and don’ts in any given situation while exchanging experienced encounters and anecdotes throughout.
Your lecturer Anda Kindzorra will guide you through these verbal and non-verbal jungles of communication and may assist you with perhaps tricky, personal or random questions that might come up in the process – in order to get a grip on English rather than losing it.
