Health, care, family and career

Within the framework of the audit familiengerechte hochschule (family-friendly university audit) Human Resources and Continuing Education provides programs to help TU Berlin staff balance their careers and their care commitments. Our course program is particularly designed to support staff with family members requiring care. We additionally supplement the programs offered by the University Sports Center by providing courses designed to promote health and stress reduction, as well as courses dealing with the balancing of career and care commitments which also cover issues relating to labor law.  We also have a special request for you. In the event of a sudden cardiac arrest, time is the decisive factor in saving lives and we would like to invite you to our trainings on dealing with emergency situations, so that you, too, can qualify as a first aider. This continuing education program has been devised in collaboration with the Medical Service [1], Family Services Office [2] and Social [3] Counselling.
