Module I: My new role, my tasks as a manager, basic premises of good management and leadership – 2 days

  • Challenges and expectations – defining function, role and responsibility, establishing areas of responsibility
  • Own understanding of management, idea of good proactive management and concept of people
  • Management styles, fostering motivation
  • What is really true? Perception, from colleague to manager – shaping your new role, managing conflict of roles – achieving acceptance and legitimacy, proximity and distance in interpersonal relations
  • Key tasks of management – how to put them into practice. Managing on the basis of the position or the role – Taylorist approach vs. The manager as coach
  • Promoting the compatibility of family life and career through a personalized management style and by making use of the programs provided by the institute
